The Robert Burns Hotel of Smith Street Collingwood is back after being closed for a much needed tart up. The new Robert Burns Hotel has all the old school charm of the past with some new inclusions such as a cool new beer garden, a more in-depth Spanish wine and beer list, an authentic tapas bar and kitchen with a new Asado grill and an even more extensive traditional Spanish menu all in the heart of Collingwood. The Robby as it is affectionately called, is back offering the most authentic Spanish cuisine since 1983. Created by the legendary Urbano Gutierrez, who is somewhat, the godfather of Spanish cooking in Melbourne, has handed over the reins to Head Chef Ivan Saiz, the new custodian of the iconic kitchen at the Robert Burns.
